The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is preparing to hold the second edition of the ‘Art of Writing and Moderating Discussions’ programme from 22 to 25 June 2026, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Youth Council and the Youth Council at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).

The programme aims to strengthen participants’ skills in writing discussions and moderating constructive debates, in addition to honing their ability to hold successful dialogues. It targets youth aged 18 to 35 and aims to equip them with the necessary skills to design and moderate panel discussions professionally, in accordance with global standards.

Participants will learn to create dialogue sessions, formulate questions, deliver key messages, control the conversation, and interact with audiences.

The programme is set to include daily sessions organised in collaboration with 30 trainees – divided into working groups – focusing on dialogue content writing, discussion planning, moderation skills, and session moderation techniques. The sessions use applied training methods combining theory and practice, including interactive training workshops, simulations, and individual and group practical exercises, followed by direct evaluations for participants.

With the ‘Art of Writing and Moderating Discussions’ programme, the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre seeks to train national talents in the field of session moderation, providing them with the necessary skills to effectively lead various dialogues. It aims to showcase their competencies through methods that strike a balance between conciseness and detail to keep the conversation engaging and interesting, thereby enhancing the quality of these sessions and supporting the professional and impactful presence of the Arabic language.
