About the Encyclopedia

The Sheikh Zayed Poetry Encyclopedia, a key cultural endeavour of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, shines the spotlight on the wisdom and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who sowed the seed of national loyalty, belonging, and identity in the hearts of future generations through poetry.

Among its many treasures, the Collection includes “Treasured Sayings” (كنز الجيل), which is a collection of Sheikh Zayed’s finest poems and the unique terminology that marks his works. The Collection also showcases translations of excerpts of his poems to many languages of the world, in addition to literary and art works inspired by the poems of this collection.
