Ajyal Poetry Lab

The Ajyal Poetry Lab is a creative program designed to discover and develop young talents in Nabati poetry for participants aged 14 to 18. The program offers a training journey led by experienced poets and specialists.

Participants will have the opportunity to improve their poems, receive feedback, refine their writing style, develop their own poetic voice, and build their public speaking and poetry performance skills.

The program includes three training workshops held on Friday September 4, Saturday September 5, and Sunday September 6, in Qasr Almuwaiji in Al Ain.

At the end of the program, a selection of outstanding poems will be chosen to be presented during the Poetry Nights: The Sung Word event, as part of the Al Ain Book Festival in November.

Please complete all the required information carefully and submit your poems according to the requirements below.

Participation Requirements:

    1- Applicants must be UAE nationals.

    2- Applicants must be between 14 and 18 years old.

    3- Applicants must submit three original poems written by themselves. Each poem must be at least           eight verses long.

    4- Participants must attend all workshops and training sessions.

    5- Applicants must confirm that the submitted poems are their own original work and have not been           submitted to any other program or competition.

Submitting the registration form does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next stage.
