Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre continues its ‘Khazanat Al Kutub’ initiative offering 240 new titles across various fields

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) will continue its unique ‘Khazanat Al Kutub’ initiative during the second half of this year, offering new publications from its leading projects to readers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain .

These efforts form part of the Centre’s vision to enhance the presence of the Arabic language and promote knowledge, in line with the UAE’s declaration of 2026 as the ‘Year of Family’.

The initiative will introduce more than 240 titles covering various fields of knowledge, drawn from the ALC’s cultural projects. This reinforces the Centre’s presence in key locations and expands the reach of its programme during the second cycle of the Community Campaign to Support Sustainable Reading, which aims to engage 100,000 beneficiaries.

Making its second appearance at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City in Al Ain, 'Khazanat Al Kutub' will run until 30 June, showcasing more than 240 titles covering a wide range of domains. The publications are issued by the Centre’s flagship projects, namely the Kalima Project for Translation, Esdarat project for Arabic publishing, and Basaer (Insights) series of research papers and studies.

Furthermore, ‘Khazanat Al Kutub’ will head to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), where it will until 3 July 2026, offering more than 220 titles across all genres, drawn from the ALC’s projects. The initiative aims to promote the Centre’s projects, programmes, and publications to reading enthusiasts among the company’s employees.

As part of the Community Campaign to Support Sustainable Reading, the initiative’s tours are designed to provide sources of culture and knowledge by making books available where readers live and work. This strengthens community members’ connection to books, fosters a culture of reading, and encourages them to make reading a daily habit.

The ‘Khazanat Al Kutub’ initiative reflects the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre’s vision and strategic objectives of promoting knowledge and engaging directly with the public, thereby fulfilling Abu Dhabi’s aspirations and reinforcing its position as a global centre for culture and knowledge.
