Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre Participates in Kuwait International Book Fair 2025

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is participating in the 48th edition of Kuwait International Book Fair, organised by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature in Kuwait, from 19 to 29 November 2025 at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds.

At its pavilion, the Centre will showcase more than 550 publications, including 90 new titles, from its flagship projects: the Kalima Translation Project, which aims to revitalise the translation movement in the Arab world; the Esdarat project for Arabic publishing, which supports authorship and publishing across literature, history, and culture; and the Basaer (Insights) series of research papers and studies, dedicated to publishing books selected for the ALC’s Research Grants Programme, which was launched to elevate scientific research in the Arabic language and its related knowledge fields.

By participating in the Fair, the Centre aims to make its most prominent publications available to the public and to highlight its pioneering role in strengthening the presence of the Arabic language and consolidating its global standing. The ALC also seeks to engage with publishers, writers, and cultural leaders, while keeping abreast of the latest developments in the publishing sector.

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre is committed to taking part in the Kuwait International Book Fair given its notable cultural standing, with the aim of exploring the vast opportunities it offers for enhancing cooperation, widening cultural exchange, and building bridges to facilitate intellectual and knowledge-based dialogue.
