The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is taking part in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024, organised by the Saudi Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission, from 26 September to 5 October, offering 600 different titles from its publications to literature and culture enthusiasts.

By participating in the event, which will be held at King Saud University in Riyadh, the ALC aims to attract Saudi universities, libraries, agents, and private publishing houses to purchase and distribute its books. It also seeks to explore the fair’s accompanying activities in order to draw inspiration and new ideas to implement at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF).

The ALC’s participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair aligns with its commitment to be present and involved in regional and international cultural events, promoting its projects and publications, in line with its strategic objectives. The Centre consistently works to advance the Arabic language and foster a culture of reading across all segments of the community.

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the ALC, said: “The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre is committed to participating in leading regional and international cultural events and actively engaging with their activities and with key players and stakeholders in the publishing industry present at these exhibitions. The Riyadh International Book Fair brings together a distinguished companies, institutions, and individuals interested in literature, publishing, and translation. It plays a significant role in fostering a passion for reading and raising literary, cultural, and artistic awareness in the community through its comprehensive programme of panel discussions, poetry evenings, theatre productions, musical performances, and workshops covering various fields.
