The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, has launched the latest edition of 'Khazanat Al Kutub' in shopping malls across the UAE as a part of National Reading Month, celebrated every March.
The initiative will offer visitors to shopping malls a chance to purchase a diverse collection of books. It provides a selection of over 350 titles across various genres including books for children and young adults, travel literature, heritage, history, and geography. Additionally, it features books on biography, literature, arts, sports, and natural sciences. Books are also available on social sciences, philosophy, psychology, and general knowledge.
'Khazanat Al Kutub' was first launched in Al Ain’s Hili Mall, for the first time this year for two weeks. It featured over 225 titles from the Kalima and Isdarat projects. A similar activation is also taking place at the Al Ain University Book Fair to showcase the centre's publications with more than 150 titles. 'Khazanat Al Kutub' is currently also running at "City Life Mall" in Ajman until 10 March, offering visitors a selection of 250 titles from ALC’s collection of books and publications. The initiative is also underway at "Makani Mall" in Abu Dhabi until 9 March, showcasing over 175 titles covering various fields and is also accessible at the Integrated Transport Centre in Abu Dhabi, offering more than 200 titles.
