The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) is taking part in the 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, organised by the Sharjah Book Authority at Expo Centre Sharjah from 5 to 16 November 2025, under the theme ‘Between You and a Book’.

At its pavilion, the Centre will present 790 titles across various fields of knowledge, including 90 of its latest releases, published by the ALC’s flagship projects: the Kalima Translation Project, the Basaer (Insights) series of research papers and studies, and the Esdarat project.

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre is keen to participate regularly in international book fairs, including the Sharjah International Book Fair, in line with its vision to enhance collaboration among stakeholders in the publishing sector. These distinguished gatherings offer a platform for the ALC to launch new releases, gauge audience interest in specific knowledge domains, and spotlight its flagship projects and initiatives to a wide audience, including international publishing houses. They also present an opportunity to engage with leading figures in literature, thought, and the arts, as well as to explore the latest works and activities by translators, literary agents, and creative minds from around the world, and connect with regional and global publishers and cultural institutions to exchange expertise and encourage cooperation.

The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 offers visitors an extensive programme featuring interactive workshops, musical performances, panel discussions, the Thriller Festival, the Publishers Conference, and the Sharjah International Library Conference. The agenda also includes innovative activities such as the Social Media Academy and the Poetry Pharmacy initiative, among other events designed to engage all segments of the community.
